Non-Breeding Birds Distribution Map

NatureMapping Observations throughout the year

Common Redpoll (Carduelis flammea)

The Washington Gap Analysis Project created breeding bird maps only. The non-breeding birds (e.g., wintering, pelagic (coastal), and birds expanding their ranges) are represented only by NatureMapping sightings.

Species Distribution Information

This Redpoll winters in the entirety of Canada and it breeds from Alaska all the way east across the North American continent. It may be found year-around in an area just between these two ranges.
